I can already tell that many conservatives are preparing to throw away their votes. Here's the worst scenario: the YES on recall of Davis succeeds. Many "principled" conservatives are going to vote for Simon or McClintock in the second vote. Cruz Bustamante ends up winning a squeaker over Arnold as Simon pulls 7% and McClintock pulls 6%. Here it is in plain English, A VOTE FOR SIMON OR MCCLINTOCK OR SOME OTHER PRINCIPLED CANDIDATE IS A VOTE FOR CRUZ BUSTAMANTE AND THE STATUS QUO. Yes, Arnold has some liberal views but at the end of the day will be in far more agreement with you than Davis or Bustamante will be.
If a conservative candidate does rise up and is a serious contender then vote for them, as will I, but don't waste your vote on somebody who can't win.
