Broken Masterpieces

It's Been 2 Years

September 11, 2001.... how can we ever forget? I'm sorry to say, it seems so many have. The current fighting in Iraq is a classic example. Many bad guys are heading over to Iraq to try and fight the US, yet we've got leaders of a major political party who offer nothing but complaints and no help. These are the types of people Ann Coulter has written about in "Treason". They are so blinded by political opportunism that they'll do or say anything to criticize the opposition.

I remember when President Clinton was trying to broker a deal between Israel and Arafat that candidate Bush just kept the criticisms out even though Clinton was helping Barak give away the ship. Nor did Bush criticize Clinton when the USS Cole was attacked.

As President Bush has stated repeatedly since 9/11, this is a war on terror and will continue for quite a long time. Now is not the time to give up. On the terrorism issue, we must unite. That does not mean we can't disagree with tactics but so much is blatantly over the top from the opposition party.

This is also not a war about revenge, but a war of prevention and the pursuit of justice. Those must be our goals. Neutralizing people that are active threats against our country is the job of this President. Now is not the time for us to go wobley or the next 9/11 will be worse.
