This CNN story about how the History Channel says that LBJ and his aides helped plot the assasination of JFK. This is worse than what CBS was going to do to Reagan. We need to be as outraged about this smear on LBJ as we were about Reagan movie.
Posted by Tim at November 19, 2003 12:05 PMI happened to see the show. It contained nothing new or controversial until the very end when the LBJ connection was put forth. This is the very first time I had ever heard of a specific mention of LBJ in that context. Maybe its just that he is one of the few men alive at the time who haven't been previously implicated, so it was his turn in the barrel. Hasn't just about everyone been implicated in someone's conspiracy theory now?
Oh, maybe the next theory can implicate GWB. Where was he that fateful day?
