UPDATE: Ray has brought it to my attention that this was actually written by actor, Larry Miller (the doorman on Seinfeld).
UPDATE 2: Ray (tip of the hat) gave me the link that proves it's Larry Miller and here's the article in The Weekly Standard.
Posted by Tim at November 21, 2003 08:33 AMNo this wasn't written by Dennis Miller. It was written by Larry Miller, who is also an actor, and it appeared first on the Weekly Standard's web site some time back.
But it does sound as though it was written by Dennis Miller both in editorial content and in tone which when added to the true author's identical name makes the error entirely understandable.
Also, I've already corrected this misattribution several other times on other blogs so don't feel especially embarassed. It's obviously a common error.
