Of course it was preventable. That's what our President is doing now, trying to prevent another 9/11 or worse. Taking Saddam out helps in this effort. Saddam will never be able to try and acquire WMDs, let terrorists train in Iraq and he can't fund any more Johnny Jihad's in Palestine who commit homicide.
