The Life of a Kindergartener

My youngest son is 5 and is in his fourth month of Kindergarten. He has a wonderful teacher and is learning to read and write very quickly. Now, he's learning to sound out while he writes so his writing doesn't look correct to us but to a 5 year old who can sound out letters, it looks perfect. Here's a day in the life of my kindergartener, in his own hand:

I can read it, can you? Let's see your translations.

I scroled down quickly so as to not see what others had written...

Morning List
Get Dressed
Eat my Breakfast
Go to School
Do my homework
Do my math homework
Go (to the bathroom) pottee

Pretty good for someone without kids.

You son has more on his to do list than I do. Am I lazy, or is he busy for a 5 year old...

Oh rats!

In my haste I put "Get my breakfast" instead of "Eat my breakfast."

And I thought I'd win the grand prize... a new Lexus right?

What a dedicated student! Doing his homework before going potty!

I have an advanced 4 year old and I am learning the art of translation. Her penmanship is not nearly this quality, yet.

Morning List
Get Dressed
Eat my Breakfast
Go To School
Do my homework
Do my math homework
Go potty

Now that's a good to do list...
