The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Amazing as it can be, I finished reading this book for the first time. It's an amazing allegory that I will be reading with my kids sometime soon. Thanks to my pastor for inspiring me to read it.

I am a recent convert to the blogdom of God alliance, and I am introducing myself to my allies. Hi-yah!
I am glad you got a chance to read "The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe". It wasn't until I was older that I understood the amazing allegory contained in the book. Frankly though, it scaired me to read when I was a kid.
Check out my blog sometime. :-)

Ah, what a treasure the Narnia books are! Certus Veritas has a link to a site talking about Narnia movies being made.

I watched the movie Shadowlands this year, about the relationship between C. S. Lewis and Joy Gresham. Apparently Lewis's academic colleagues were quite jealous of the success of the Narnia books.

Make sure you take that SHadowlands with a pinch of salt, though... it treated the subject with a bit of artistic license....

Anyway, Narnia's great! Now read the rest!
