Honorable Discharge

The words "honorable discharge" should be the only answer needed to be given by George W. Bush. With a hat tip to Powerline points us to HobbsOnline that answers the question through all the comments. Included are the relevant documents. Heck, I say let the Democrats push the issue. They are the ones that defended Bill Clinton's military "record". This is a loser for them.

As long as we're on the subject of letting people push their issues, I've noticed that the people at MoveOn.org are taking umbrage at CBS refusing to broadcast their ad at the Super Bowl. There was nothing particularly offensive about the ad where the kids were washing dishes, cleaning hotel rooms, etc. For CBS to say they have a policy against advocacy advertising is a double standard, because the "Shards O Glass" ad, which they ran was a perfect example of advocacy advertising. The PETA ad that CBS blocked was deliberately sick and twisted, and I'm glad they blocked it. But just think what would happen if CBS ran MoveOn's "Bush is Hitler" ad at the Super Bowl. The outcry would be so great that it would effectively end MoveOn.org.
