Prayers for an Anonymous Marine

As I'm driving to work I notice a young mother walking back from the local elementary school with her toddler-aged son. I noticed that her shirt said "Marines". As I thought about this I wondered where her husband might be. Is he in Iraq? Is he deployed somewhere else? Is he doing his duty at Miramar? I just prayed for her, her husband and her family. May God bless this Marine family. May He protect them and preserve them.

Let's never forget the great service and sacrifice of our people in the military including their families and remember to pray for them.

I recently stumbled on the presidentialprayerteam website and signed up for the adopt-a-troop feature. I get to pray for a randomly chosen military member - David and he's in the Marines. I am very happy to make him a part of my prayers. The link is: http://www.presidentialprayerteam.org/troopsadopt.php

your comments are true. We need to be praying for out troops wether they are in town, across the country or across all the lands. Our active service and reserve troops give up more than we will ever know to defend our country and even country's that don't like us. Please also pray for vetrans who have gone on before us and to the future vets who will take up there fallen comrades arms.
