A Horrible Reminder - We Are Still At War

Yahoo! News - Spain Mourns 'Our September 11,' Qaeda Link Probed

As I begin absorbing what has happened in Spain I keep going back to the thought "we are still at war". What kind of people target civilians like what happened on 3/11/04 and 9/11/01? These are brutal killers that must be continued to be hunted. A lot of progress has been made in the fight but it still continues.

As someone said on Hugh Hewitt's show "we are all Spaniards".

Seeing this horror in Spain makes me puzzle even more why more Bush supporters aren't furious about why the Administration's intelligence data was so wrong in Iraq. It makes me wonder if the intelligence apparatus of Bush is so badly broken that it didn't see this attack in Spain coming when it should have. This attack and the seeming lack of enthusiasm of the current administration to figure out its own mistakes with the information on Iraqi WMD, bioweapons, and Al Qaeda-Hussein links points out a very strong reason why citizens should consider replacing Bush in November. How much can you trust this Administration to figure out who has what weapon and when they will strike next? This is horrifying, sad news out of Spain.
