Shame on California

Crosswalk.com - Kevin McCullough's Weblog - Barbara Boxer Blowback

Scroll down a couple of articles to read a bit more about the shame of California, Barbara Boxer. I still can't believe the Republican party couldn't find someone to fund and run against Boxer. There is nobody less deserving a Senate seat than her and she's won 3 elections. Why? I just don't get it.

Last CA general election, 165 state & federal offices were in play.

Of those 165, 165 incumbents re-elected.

California is a one-party People's Democratic Republic, and the only thing you can do if you're not a Good Comrade is leave the state. If my job weren't holding me here, I'd be over the wall and making for America.

Last go around, there were many of us who wanted to rid our state of the Boxer. Folks with high profile like Dennis Praeger were asked to run. After much debate, he declined. We had a candidate who was essentially unknown. He didn't have the backing of our illustrious governator, Arnold. He wasn't a good fundraiser and it was not a good race. When all was said and done it was hard for even me to vote for him because he did nothing visible to further the vote. Now we're stuck and she knows it. She is counting on people to care more about themselves than the limited news most people access. In a six year term, the first month doesn't stay in very many people's minds. It's embarassing but true. We need prayer.
