Chirac Loses To Blair, Again

Paris's defeat by London in the race to host the 2012 Olympic Games was a bitter blow for French President Jacques Chirac that was all the more painful because he lost out again to his rival Tony Blair.

This just brings a smile to my face.

Life is good anytime the French don't get their way... my hubby and I cheered all the way to work this morning after we heard the announcement.

Don't you think it is telling when what came to all of our minds was a resounding.....YES when we heard that England won over France.

Of note, our son-in-law is French and he despises how the French have acted. The night before he married our daughter we made him an honorary Texan, as my husband noted.....we Texas ranchers have a thing about our girls marrying "furners". So we gave him a honorary certificate making him a Texan. We conceeded by signing it by the well known Texas official, "Armand-dillo".
Be blessed today. Praying for you...... B Gunn
