Read the Quran instead. The bible has counteless mistakes and has been changed over time, hence the great number of versions today.

The versions you mention are not corrections to the Bible, but newer language. God did has not made any mistakes that I have heard about lately. People, by their very nature, make mistakes and you have made a very serious mistake if you pass up this opportunity to acknowledge Jesus as Lord.
