Our very own JonnyUps let me have a listen to a four song demo for his band Parker Theory. First off, it is extremely cool that I have the opportunity to have a chance to listen in on the creative process. As a very non-creative person I'm honored that an artist would let me in to see their world.
On with the demo, Parker Theory is a San Diego based pop-rock band who's been around for a few years. I first saw them in 2001 when they opened for Switchfoot but they've gone through many changes since. As I listened to their demo I saw a lot of growth. Of the four songs there was a very catchy pop song, a good and heavy rock song and some accoustic work. I always like to hear musicians show off their musicianship so I see good things coming with the next Parker Theory effort.
