Posted 11:05 AM, Pacific"In, But Not Of" has launched a blog: www.brokenmasterpieces.com, which is clean and crisp, and center-right evangelical. Such things make book-writing worthwhile. See the actual text here "So, the honorable Hugh Hewitt (law degree and law professor) considers your blog, clean, crisp and center-right. Not bad for a white guy. = )" - Broken Wife after seeing Hugh's comments. Credits

August 20, 2003Is It Worth It?So the Supreme Court will not reverse the case against Judge Moore in Alabama. Now, protesters are getting arrested (see CNN story). Even though I think it's a bit silly to have to remove the display is it worth going to the mat for? I really don't think so. Will one life be changed because of this display? Doubtful. I don't think the display is unconstitutional because there isn't an actual religion being pushed. Anyone who doesn't think the 10 Commandments are not part of the inspiration for some of our law needs a drug test so, hopefully, things will change and the display will change. I just wonder if Judge Moore thinks this is really worth fighting for. |
