So last you heard, I had the chance to open for The Honorary Title. They were definitely good, but after making friends with the drummer, Atom, he informed me that he was the drummer for another band. Apparently The Honorary Title is just 2 people, with additional musicians filling in on tour.
Atom’s band has been one of my favorites for a while now, so this was a cool moment for me. So, for me, check out The Format and take a listen. They are a good band, you can understand them, and it’s just fun music.

I can’t even remember how I came across The Format, but I do know it was completely by accident. Im glad it happened though, Ive listened to “interventions and lullabies” on repeat for the past couple weeks now, GREAT CD TO DRIVE TO! I want to find out when they tour……..

the format is currently touring with Taking Back Sunday and Jimmy Eat World. The tour just started and I saw it Monday in Detroit. It was amazing…i can’t even describe it to you. Best concert i’ve ever been to probably.

Tonight I went to the Taking Back Sunday & Jimmy Eat World concert in Providence, RI. Man, that show was the BEST show I’ve been to. And trust me, I’ve been to a lot of shows in my lifetime. The Format opened up, and they were beyond amazing. Their sound is really fresh and unique. It’s just that kind of music you can listen to in ANY mood. And no matter what, it’ll get you feeling really good. I think they’re extremely talented. So are JEW & TBS. But anyway, uhmmmm go buy their CD because…well…I said so! =)

I was introduced to the format last year after they opened for switchfoot. I got their cd and they signed it. I put the cd into my cd player and it hasn’t left it since. I addicted to thier music.

I heard the Format on the radio ALLL the time when visiting a friend at ASU last year, and the day before yesterday they just HAPPENED to be playing in Orlando with Something Corporate. AMAZING CONCERT!! They are awesome performers. Just go see them. Find their tour dates at theformat.com.

I got into them through the free iTunes music sampler which features “On your porch”. Great song. So I grabbed the rest of them

The format is the best indie band in the entire world! theyre such a chill band which is very rare now that emo and al that stuff is big now. all of the kids in my school try to be cool by liking the used and sum 41. the format is truely an awesome band. i cant wait till their new cd! the worst s green day. hey green day, if u don’t like america move to Iran or shut up. your the true american idiot!

omg! i bought The Format CD, not knowing who they are, and now i am in <33 with them!! i totally love them. i almost think that they are my new fav. band, besides Blink 182 or senses fail!! i definitly recommend this CD to everyone who likes easy going rock music!! =)

Oh jeez, The Format is the greatest band that ever handclapped. No seriously, I love them and I’m so excited that I got to meet Sam & Nate (along with The Honorary Title dudes, who are astounding as well!) on the Switchfoot tour when they came here to little ol’ Texas. Great guys, great music, great cd.

I love the Format. I just heard them on the radio in denver like two weeks ago. then i ran as fast as i could to the mall and got 4 copies so i can share them with my friends. now all my friends love the Format. the best song is First Single and Closer.

I just saw The Format in concert a few days ago in Myrtle Beach and that was the best show I have ever seen… incredibly amazing. They are seriously my favorite band. Oh I love them so much!!
