9/11 – Never Forget

Never Forget….

the moment it happened and how you felt
the evil that drove the attacks
the draw you felt towards God
that there is a war on terror and that there are groups that want to do it again
the patriotism you felt
the confusion
we weren’t prepared
this isn’t just about these attacks and that, given the resources, they want to do much worse
the jihadis that did this weren’t poor
that this was not deserved
that many in the Middle East celebrated
that some are already forgetting who did this and want to blame some one else
the lawmakers singing “God Bless America”
Republicans didn’t do this
Democrats didn’t do this
the terrorists were radical Islamists and thought they were doing God’s will
the victims and their loved ones
the people who are making sure this doesn’t happen again
the people who’ve died to make sure this doesn’t happen again
