"In, But Not Of" has launched a blog: www.brokenmasterpieces.com, which is clean and crisp, and center-right evangelical. Such things make book-writing worthwhile.
"So, the honorable Hugh Hewitt (law degree and law professor) considers your blog, clean, crisp and center-right. Not bad for a white guy. = )" - Broken Wife after seeing Hugh's comments.

This story interests me as a liberal Dem mostly because of how much Hugh Hewitt (and probably other Republican partisans) sees George Bush triumphant and vindicated because of this shell explosion, and how he indicts the liberal media for burying the story. Check out his web page over the last two days.
Meanwhile:
-there are no serious injuries from the explosion.
-Secretary Rumsfeld says that “we have to be careful” about whether the chemical is even Sarin. Generally the Bush administration seems quiet about this find.
-David Kay, Bush’s WMD inspector, says it’s likely a stray weapon scavenged by militants and did not signify Iraq had large stockpiles of such weapons. Hans Blix (I know you Republicans don’t trust him.) says the same thing.
-General Kimmit says he believes the insurgents didn’t even know it contained the nerve agent (if that’s what it is).
-Bush’s Iraq Survey Group of CIA and US military special forces has been conducting a massive but fruitless search across Iraq for over year for these weapons. (You’d think THEY would have found something significant by now if there was something.)
-Secretary Colin Powell says a couple days ago how deeply disappointed he is about how the information on WMDs given to him before the war was wrong.
It’s sort of Republican blogger partisans versus the world on this issue. I’m interested to see how this plays out.
