In his review of the services last night for President Reagan, Aaron Brown didn’t mention that the backwards boots were actually Reagan’s own riding boots. Come on Aaron, that is something worth mentioning, despite your contempt for our late President.

That’s funny. The sense of ceremony and ritual has been missing in the US for a long time. Folks like Aaron Brown miss the symbolism of things like that or either it’s not foremost in their minds, so they probably check facts off like a grocery list.
