Dodgers Looking At Trading Green For Sosa?

Dodgers and Cubs to Discuss a Possible Green-Sosa Trade

I'm a big fan of Sammy Sosa but trading Shawn Green (who actually has a smaller contract) for him would be horrible. I think Sosa is clearly on the way down in his career and I doubt he'll ever hit 30 home runs again. Green was strong at the end of the year and I think he's now fully healthy and will have a big year in 2005.

Sammy Sosa disgraced the sport when he cheated with the corked bat and didn't fess up. It is far worse than the Black Sock or Pete Rose or Roberto Aldomar. I declare the Curse of the Cork. The Cubbies shall lie barren until Corky tells the truth and asks that the home runs he cheated on be banished from the record books and all games he cheated in be forfeit. No Hall of Fame while he lives. Maybe 100 years after he dies. This isn't Haiti, Corky. Show some respect for the sport. Trade him to the Seatle Seahawks. What with the way he buonces after a hit, he could be a great cheerleader.
